A new Microsoft Band is on the way

Do you remember the Microsoft Band? Probably yes, after all, was the device by which the software giant began competing in the market for wearables, although its success has been moderate. This of course will not stop the company: just because your fitness bracelet had not successful does not mean that they will give up. In the course of the last nine months Microsoft has been adding new functions and features to the device through several updates, but has never discussed a successor ... until now.

 Kevin Turner, COO of Microsoft and one of its senior executives, has recently indicated that the second generation of the Band is on the way. He was recently asked if there was news about a new wearable, to which Turner replied that they are already developing a successor to the Microsoft Band. Unfortunately he did not elaborate, so at this point still wonder what will be the main specifications and characteristics of the new product.
For those who do not know, the Microsoft Band is a fitness bracelet that also has the ability to display the time and notifications. In short, it has more features than the standard fitness bracelets but becomes a SmartWatch.
It is not known exactly when it will debut the second generation after all the COO has just confirmed that it is developing. If we're lucky, maybe we can see a prototype during the IFA 2015 fair in Berlin, which will take place in early September. The launch may take place in November, as long as Microsoft does not bump into anything during development and manufacturing.
