A new technology comes to the fastest mobile and less battery consumption

It is developed on the campus of Hanyang (Seoul), seeks to optimize the performance and called on key Waldio

Hanyang University, Seoul (South Korea), has announced a new technology which optimizes battery life and improve the performance of a smartphone. Created by the research team of Professor Won You-jip, this research seeks above all to prevent the flash memory is full and is called "Direct IO Write Ahead Logging" (WALDIO). The essential purpose of this technology is to prevent unnecessary data is recorded on the phone, a phenomenon that according to this research is the key by which a telephone worse in the long run. This is a consequence of the application memory, cache memory, that leaves as files to be used. So, total memory, used for rapid implementation of the system and applications, fills and leaves the phone in a state sometimes unusable.
With this new research, says Won You-jip, the "moving faster and will extend the life of your batteries." It has come to give figures 14 times improvement in speed, and moving with a battery that is not replaced still works 20 times better. Moreover, it is stated that a decline of memory usage serves to expand the battery life by 39% or more. According to Professor Won, "the axis of this new technology is to burn small amounts of data" in order "to use cheap memory 'that serve to speed up loading times.
This research was presented at the fair USENIXen Santa Clara, California, and the team has already received an award at the 2013 edition of the fair.
