Apple receives a request for the name "iWatch"

A small European company that is looking for their five minutes of fame has recently filed a lawsuit against Apple in reference to the name "iWatch", despite the fact that the SmartWatch apple called Apple Watch. Apparently the lawsuit was filed because in advertising Google could see the clock on the company if the word "iWatch" wanted. The latter makes sense, because for a long time there were many people who used the term to refer to the clock, including his own Tim Cook used it on occasion. Just search "iWatch" in Google.com to see results.

Probendi is the company that filed the lawsuit, which owns the trademark "iWatch" since 2008. On June 26 filed suit in Milan, indicating that Apple has used the word iWatch in the Google search engine to carry the brand users to your website, thus promoting Apple Watch. If we go to the website of this company we will see that the only thing that matters is that people know who have sued Apple. At no time it is indicated what it is or what does your "iWatch" simply seeking the whole world to know that they have the license.
Probendi has indicated that Apple will soon be bringing to trial, in order to avoid any unauthorized use of the word "iWatch" use. For Apple, this kind of demands that come from small companies increasingly are more everyday, and surely many will remember that Chinese company that claimed to have registered the trademark "iPad", referring to a device which, ironically, was a copy of the iMac.
It's no surprise to see different companies trying to "hang" the success of a giant like Apple. It has happened in the past, it happens today and surely will continue to happen in the future.
