The G4 is unequivocally the best smartphone that LG has ever created. With so many things about the G4, it is no surprise that LG is milking his success with more affordable and smaller models such as the recently announced G4 Beat.
LG announced Thursday that the G4 Beat is a smaller version of the flagship LG: G4. The phone will cost € 400 (about $ 440), which will involve a hole in your wallet.
As regards design, the G4 Beat, closely resembles the G4, with buttons that look back and all. But while the G4 has options of leather, G4 Beat only come with ceramic plastic finish.
It also has a 5.2-inch IPS screen with 1920x 1080 resolution (Full HD). Glass is also very slightly curved, like the G4. Beat the G4 runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. Specifications only tell you what kind of phone is a device midrange.
It has an 8 megapixel camera on the back and a 5MP camera to selfies in front. These are not as good as the 16-megapixel rear 8 megapixel front G4, but the Beat G4 comes with an autofocus sensor laser sensor LG and color spectrum, which helps quick photos with realistic colors and accurate. It will also feature manual camera mode.
As a mid-range device, the G4 Beat is not as versatile as the G4, but if your camera is as good as LG says, the company could have another hit on their hands.
Beat the G4 will come in three colors: silver metallic, ceramic and shiny white gold, when it goes on sale this month in select markets, including Canada, France, Germany, Russia, Brazil, India, Singapore, South Africa and Turkey. LG has not yet announced the availability in the US
