Dropbox just made it much easier for people without accounts to share files through its service. The file storage service launched Wednesday a new tool, called request file, which makes it easy for users to request specific types of files of individuals and groups, regardless of whether they have an account or not Dropbox.

You can request files from the new menu "request file" in the left column of Dropbox.com. From there, enter the email address of the person you want to ask for records, and then you must designate a folder on your Dropbox account for incoming files.
The requests appear in an email with a description of the application, along with the option to upload the files directly from the message. Files can be up to 2 GB each and not a Dropbox account required to climb to the folder of an applicant, although the site requires you to enter your email address.
"What we see here is an opportunity to present something simple that can be used successfully and that gives them confidence after using Dropbox for other uses," said Wang Chenli.
The new function File Request Dropbox is now available in Basic and Pro users. The company said it will make the feature is available to users in business "in the coming weeks."
